While this is the case, banks are competing with each other to offer lower and lower rates with 3 year fixed rates being offered from as low as 6.29% pa!!

	Reserve bank meeting outcome At it's meeting today the reserve bank board decided to leave official interest rates unchanged.
	First Home buyers stamp duty changes in NSW Budget The stamp duty exemption which currently applies to first home buyers (purchasing established property for under $500,000) in NSW is being removed as of 1 January 2012. This means first home buyers will need to save an additional up to $17,000 on top of their deposit. For more on these changes click here & of course, we are happy to discuss this with you.
